Offa Drive - Kenilworth

This small painting came about from a challenge set for me on social media. I paint architecture around Kenilworth - often large brick buildings or old terraces. What could I do with a quiet residential area with no grand set-piece to paint? The painting was taken from a photograph on a fairly grey days with weak sunshine into the camera. Like my painting of Kenilworth Castle over Purlieu Lane I did this without any pre-drawing but with a clear idea of what the final painting would look like. Its ended with quite a mystical effect but Offa Drive is unmistakeable through it. This is quite a small painting. Dimensions shown are for the image that would be framed. The paper size is 210mm x 300mm.
